What a great piece! And what a frightening proposal from Bezos... the tech bros look at the entire humanity and universe as something to be made more (and more) efficient. I want to run away in the opposite direction.
It is scary to see how some people seem so willing to get rid of any of life's little joys that can't be quantified and maximized for profit. It's even scarier to see how those people always seem to find themselves in position of disproportionate power.
